Ahoy Matey!....

I have no idea what is pushing me to become so seaworthy and paint boats and water as my subject matter.... I can second guess myself - that I am longing to get to the lake...or that being on a cruise ship in March of this year has me counting my blessings that I am home safe and sound.

Whatever the reason...and with no conscious deliberation.... I've been painting canoes, rowboats, gondolas, tugboats and sailboats. Can I call this my "Blue Period?" I love painting water....and being around water. So often you hear people out west talk about how they just love being near the mountains....my passion is definitely being near, on or in water.

Let's hope that this will become a reality very soon for...until that time...I will continue to paint boats!
